The 9000 mtk metal template kit has been updated to allow easy installation for each strike in the hes 9000 family. Faceplate only to work with series 5000 5200. The hes 5200 is a high endurance electric strike with an in frame horizontal latchbolt adjustment that speeds up the installation process. The adjusting the horizontal section provides steps for this adjustment.

The unit is field selectable fail secure or fail safe and works on left and right handed doors. Its strength is derived from a unique keeper pin locking design enabling the 5000 to exceed the ratings of the frame door and locking hardware. Hes 9400 electric strike. Fail secure or fail locked electric door strikes can be opened when electric current is applied and remain locked during power failures.

The 5200c includes a 5200 strike body the 501 faceplate for cylindrical locksets in ansi metal jambs and the 501a faceplate for cylindrical locksets or spring latches in aluminum frames. After installation of the strike the horizontal adjustment feature allows the installer to adjust the electric strike opening in order to accommodate the horizontal position of the latchbolt. Includes hes 8300 strike body 801 faceplate and 801a faceplate. This features allows the installer to easily adjust the electric strike opening to accommodate the horizontal position of the latchbolt after the strike has been installed.

Fail safe or fail open electric door strikes lock when dc current is applied and can be opened manually during power failures. The 5200 has an in frame horizontal adjustment range of about 1 4 6 4 mm to allow adjustment of the electric strike in the frame opening to accomodate for the horizontal position of the latchbolt after the strike has been installed. The horizontal adjustment feature allows the installer to simply adjust the electric strike opening in order to accommodate the horizontal position of the latchbolt after installation of the strike. A tamper resistent design ensures maximum security.
