High Albedo Roof Pavers

If your pavers receive high levels of exposure to yard debris environmental dust or other factors that impact its cleanliness then you will need to clean your landscaping installation frequently.

Reformulate or coat black membranes to make them reflective. By preventing a majority of the heat from ever reaching the surface these roofs work to greatly reduce hvac cooling costs during the summer months. Single ply membranes are pre fabricated sheets rolled onto the roof and attached with mechanical fasteners adhered with chemical adhesives or held in place with ballast gravel stones or pavers. Ideal for high traffic flat roofs or for periodic servicing of rooftop equipment.

How they can be made cool. The concrete pavement c3 with high albedo 0 26 see figure 4 has generally lower daytime near surface air temperatures compared to the asphalt pavement b3 and b1 with low albedo 0 09 and 0 09 respectively see figure 4. Roof ballast slabs offer the strength durability and beauty of natural stone with the potential for time and cost savings because of their ease of installation. Compared to the impermeable asphalt pavement b1 the permeable asphalt pavement b3 has lower near surface air temperatures.

Roof ballast slabs are suitable for. Dirt and debris can negatively impact the quality of the sealer that was used on the stones. As one would expect albedo roofs are formulated with special high eminence materials that keep project a high level of thermal energy back into the atmosphere. Designers can choose from a variety of colours textures patterns and sizes to create a unique outdoor environment.

Our portable pavers are made of heavy duty recycled tire rubber and e waste plastic providing excellent resistance to severe wind weather as well as damaging uv rays. This causes the concrete to maintain a lower surface temperature resulting in less energy needed to cool buildings and less energy consumed by nighttime lighting not to mention reducing the heat island effect found on many asphalt parking lots in the summer. Built up roofs consist of a base sheet fabric reinforcement layers and usually a dark protective. Slabs are precision fit with a consistent thickness and a slip resistant finish.

This disadvantage applies to pre sealed stones as well. Manufacturers of concrete unit pavers for over 40 years for on grade and roof applications for architectural commercial and residential projects. This concrete characteristic is particularly noteworthy in comparison to alternatives for paving and roofing.
